"As we got further along into our wedding planning, I quickly realized that I did not want to be the point of contact on the day of my own wedding. I’m OCD, but I’m not that crazy. That’s where Jessica came in. From the first meeting I could tell that she was very detail oriented and was going to be a great fit for us. We were able to bounce questions off of her and pick her brain about her years of experience. I also ended up hiring her for our rehearsal day and I did not regret it. She provided great input about pacing for folks down the aisle, how to link together, and placement of folks at the front of the venue.
On the day of the wedding, she took my folder of notes and rocked it out of the park. I was only seriously interrupted once and that was because I had custom designed a light system and it wasn’t working as anticipated. There was literally no one else she could have turned to, but that was the only time I had to step away from my wedding duties. Everything else went great, from the little touches like cleaning the mirrors on each table, to the placement of decorations, to the turning on of the 200+ light fixtures.
